Adams Amsterdam Auctions
Adams is the next generation auction house. We combine love for art, expertise and personal approach with innovative collaborations and single owner sales.
Since the foundation of Adams in 2009, the auction house has organized many successful single owner sales. In 2014, a new element was added to its operations. A cooperation with the leading Dutch newspaper NRC, resulted in an ongoing series of multi-consigner auctions under the name of NRC Auctions. This groundbreaking new concept has proven to be a big success and continues to experience major growth.
In 2021 Odette van Ginkel and Benthe Tupker became the new managing partners of Adams. Odette is a familiar face to Adams’ clients. She joined the auction house in 2019, after working at Christie’s for over twenty-four years, where she led the Modern Art department in Amsterdam. Benthe joined Adams in 2021, previously working at Christie’s Amsterdam for twelve years. They have brought an extensive network, profound knowledge of the art market and in-depth expertise.
