To protect your and our health, our office is closed until April 28 or perhaps longer depending on the circumstances. In the meantime, preparations for the auction will continue. Consignors will be timely notified about the new auction date.

Art from Aboriginal to ZERO

The most spectacular lot from our latest auction was undoubtedly the famous painting that Kik Zeiler made of De Herenclub in 1985. It hung for almost 30 years at the former Letterkundig Museum, the loan ended just before the auction. De Herenclub, a group of colleagues, artists, politicians and other prominent gentlemen lead by Harry Mulisch, is depicted sitting at the table at De Boerderij in Amsterdam. The resemblance to existing persons or events is not entirely based on coincidence. After a fierce battle the painting was sold for € 50,000 (incl. costs). Bidding for other lots was also fervent. You can view the results via the links below. It is necessary to log in, if you do not have an account, you can register one via the button Sign up upper right.
