Wouter van Aken

Wouter joined Adams in January 2022 as junior specialist for contemporary art and photography. He holds a master of arts degree in Art History from the University of Amsterdam. During his studies he completed internships at the Kunstmuseum Den Haag (in the role of assistant curator), Museum Beelden aan Zee, Christie’s Amsterdam and Grisebach Berlin. At Sotheby’s Amsterdam he worked as an associate specialist for contemporary art, after which he was a curator at Kahmann Gallery. Wouter sits on the board of several renowned organisations, including JongRembrandt of the Rembrandt Association, Van Loon 100 of Museum Van Loon and the PAN Education Fund.
