Context

A staged tableau reminiscent of Leonardo da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'. Executed in Naples in 1980, at a party held for Joseph Beuys by his friend, Andy Warhol. It forms part of a category of art work called ‘Event Photography’ and offers an insight into one night with two of the most important pop art and performance artists that were around at that time.
