Notes: Artist & Practice

Radai studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, Kunstacademie Minerva in Groningen, and the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Engaging with the intersection of collective and personal history, she draws from photographs, found footage, and media imagery—fragments of reality that evoke a shared sense of memory. Examines paintings relevance in a world saturated with images.

Context

Her work investigates the complex power dynamics of looking, positioning the gaze itself as both subject and tool. A formative experience in adolescence revealed the threat and tension inherent in observation, shaping a practice centered on watching—and being watched.
