Adams presents a wide-ranging selection of photography, from vintage prints to works by contemporary artists. You will find works by, among many others, Ruud van Empel, Marc Lagrange, Erwin Olaf, Miles Aldridge, Phyllis Galembo, Nobuyoshi Araki, Irving Penn, Jeanloup Sieff, Erwin Blumenfeld, Brassaï, Peter Hujar, Ruth Bernhard, Paul J. Woolf, Sanne Sannes, Cas Oorthuys, Eva Besnyö, Ata Kandó, Dolf Kruger, Gerard Fieret, Paul Huf and Paul Blanca.

The auction features two interesting collections: that of Ingeborg Leijerzapf, former Curator of Photography at Leiden University, and of Henri van der Tol. Leijerzapf made a significant contribution to the emancipation of photography in the Netherlands. With her doctoral thesis on Henri Berssenbrugge, she became the first person in the Netherlands to be awarded a PhD in photography, and she was responsible for numerous exhibitions and publications. In addition, a substantial group of international photographic works from the Henri van der Tol Collection is included in the sale.
